Losertown Calorie Calculator

The Losertown calorie calculator uses a formula that takes into account your basal metabolic rate (BMR) and your activity level to estimate how many calories you need to consume per day to achieve your weight loss goals. Keep in mind that this is an estimate and your actual calorie needs may vary depending on various factors such as genetics, medical conditions, and lifestyle habits.

Losertown Calorie Formula

The Losertown calorie calculator uses a formula called the Harris-Benedict equation to estimate your basal metabolic rate (BMR), which is the number of calories your body needs to function at rest. The formula takes into account your age, weight, height, and gender. Here’s the formula:

For men: BMR = 88.362 + (13.397 x weight in kg) + (4.799 x height in cm) – (5.677 x age in years)

For women: BMR = 447.593 + (9.247 x weight in kg) + (3.098 x height in cm) – (4.330 x age in years)

Once your BMR has been calculated, the Losertown calorie calculator adjusts it based on your activity level to estimate your total daily energy expenditure (TDEE). From there, it recommends a daily calorie intake that will put you in a safe and sustainable calorie deficit for weight loss. Keep in mind that the calculator provides an estimate and your actual calorie needs may vary.

Losertown Calorie Example

For men: BMR = 88.362 + (13.397 x weight in kg) + (4.799 x height in cm) – (5.677 x age in years)

For women: BMR = 447.593 + (9.247 x weight in kg) + (3.098 x height in cm) – (4.330 x age in years)

Where:

  • Weight is measured in kilograms (kg)
  • Height is measured in centimeters (cm)
  • Age is measured in years

So, for example, if a man weighs 80 kg, is 180 cm tall, and is 35 years old, his BMR would be:

BMR = 88.362 + (13.397 x 80) + (4.799 x 180) – (5.677 x 35) BMR = 88.362 + 1071.76 + 863.22 – 198.695 BMR = 1824.647 calories per day

And if a woman weighs 65 kg, is 160 cm tall, and is 40 years old, her BMR would be:

BMR = 447.593 + (9.247 x 65) + (3.098 x 160) – (4.330 x 40) BMR = 447.593 + 600.755 + 495.68 – 173.2 BMR = 1370.828 calories per day

Keep in mind that these values are just estimates and may not be completely accurate for every individual.
